Lambchop

Meet Lambchop - she is such a dear bunny and we are so pleased to have her with us.

Lambchop came to us from a local shelter as she was abandonded in an apartment when her owners moved. As bad as this sounds, it's not the first time we've seen this happen and unfortunately most likely not the last time either. Thank goodness she was found before she had gone too long without food & water. Nonetheless, Lambchop quickly adjusted to her new foster home and quickly made friends with the other resident bunnies. Within a few days of having Lammers with us, we noticed that she didn't seem to see things...could she be blind? Off to the vet she went - there was no apparent damage to her eyes internally yet she does have limited vision of some sort. Because of this, Lambchop will sometimes grab at something if she doesn't see it coming, especially if it's food. Otherwise, she is one of the most loving bunnies that you can find. She enjoys a good cuddle and will sit with you until your arm starts to cramp up ;-)
