Rusty

How sad is he???

Poor little Rusty was found wandering alone on the streets of Burnaby. Thankfully, someone found him and took him to the local animal shelter.

When we first met Rusty, it was clear that he was in alot of discomfort. Of course, he was taken to a vet right away where he was diagnosed with mites. As you can see from his picture, it's incredibly itchy. Imagine being so itchy that you scratch off all your hair & then start tearing your own skin until it bled. Luckily for him, his nails were so over grown that he didn't do as much damage as he could have.

After a few months of treatment, Rusty was ready to go to his new home. He was doing GREAT. Happily we can say that Rusty found his *forever* home whre he is loved and cared for the way all small animals should be.
