Spring & Summer

On the phone he made it sound like we were so *lucky* to be able to get his bunnies as they look *just like the Telus bunnies* the company used in their ads and that he paid $30 for each.

Needless to say he wouldn't donate the cage or the money to have them spayed as he already paid $60 for the pair from our favorite red & blue chain pet store. He was leaving the country & he couldn't take the bunnies with him.

These two are such a beautiful pair. We have called them Spring & Summer since they are so stunning and yet so different in personality. Summer is laid back & shy while Spring wants to poke her little head into everything and say *hello world*.

These pictures were taken the day we picked them up - The nails as you can see are over grown or missing due to breaking off from being so long. The bare spots on their feet are from sitting on a wire bottomed cage that the store sold to them for rabbits but which aren't suitable for any type of animal.

We are happy to report that Spring & Summer have recently gone to a wonderful home!
