Tino

Tino's former owner dumped him at the shelter around Valentine's Day 2005 after their kids put him in the microwave. Needless to say it's a wonder that he survived! As you can see in the pictures, he has the scars that remind us of his sad story! He has holes in his ears! On top of that he suffers from malocclusion and needs to have his teeth trimmed on a regular basis.

When SARS BC heard of Tino and his sad past, we asked our volunteer Paula to go and get him out of the shelter to a foster home with SARS BC which she was more than happy to do.

Paula was planing on adopting another rabbit from us but on the way from the shelter to SARS BC, Paula fell head over heels in love with him and asked us if it would be ok if she adopted Tino herself!

Tino finally has what he deserves - A forever home with two people that just adore him and spoil him rotten ever single day! And a few months later Tino did not get one but TWO lady friends - Kissee and Rosie, both adoped from SARS BC! They initially wanted to adopt just one girl but as it is with bunnies, they like to pick their partners so they came to meet Rosie and Kissee, two potential candidates. Everything went well with both girls but Paula and Stevan decided to adopt Kissee... But just before they closed the carrier and were going to leave, Rosie hopped in it too. So they figured since she's already in the carrier, they might as well adopt her as well. The three couldn't be happier together!
