Volunteering
Love Animals?
Want to help the ones in need?
SARSBC has many different ways for individuals and families to help the small animals of BC through volunteering.
Our most popular way to volunteer is to become a Foster Family, which allows animals in need of care to live in your home until they are adopted. For more information on fostering please check out the Fostering page, which has all the details.
If you are unable to bring an animal into your home, no worries, we have many other ways for you to help the little guys. For instance coming out to socialize our shelter bunnies, no better way then hands on bunny cuddling time! Not only is it fun and rewarding, but the bunnies really appreciate it.
We hold bottles drives, so donating or volunteering at one of these events is another great way to get involved.
Sometimes we can be seen at an animal event or fairs, here we need able bodies to come out and answer question to passers by.
We can always use a hand with driving foster animals to and from vet appointments or foster homes.
Marketing and promotions are a way to help get the word out, and we're always grateful with any help there too.
Here is a quick list of a few of the areas we have for volunteering.
